The Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom stated,” The inhumane action of the German police in attacking the Hamburg Islamic Center and the Imam Ali Mosque (peace be upon him) is illegal and against the standards of religious freedom."

Hawzah News Agency- the detailed statement of Qom Seminary Teachers’ Society is as follows:

In the name of God

The inhumane and brazen action of the German police in the attack on the Islamic Center of Hamburg and Imam Ali Mosque (peace be upon him) is illegal and against the standards of religious freedom.

These centers are one of the most important centers for the promotion of Islamic spirituality and education, which neutralize extremism and the growth of perverse extremist currents. Undoubtedly, this vicious action provides the opportunity for the emergence of deviant anti-religious trends and will cause serious problems in the religious environments of Europe including Germany.

By condemning the attack of the German police forces on these centers and creating unreasonable restrictions for Muslims especially Shiites, the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom Seminary asks the officials of the diplomatic system and other guardians to support the activities of the Hamburg Islamic Center and the Imam Ali Mosque (peace be upon him) with legal follow-up to protect and seriously pursue the issue of reopening these centers.

The German government should also beware that Islam is a religion of morality, spirituality, peace and friendship. Islamophobia and anti-Islamism are the tactic and conspiracy of the international Zionist movement, and moving in the direction of Zionist centers will harm the German government and nation more than anything else.

Although this attack in creating pressure against religious centers has offended the Muslims living in Germany, the Muslims of the world, scholars, scientists, university professors and religious figures, but maintaining peace and obeying the law is a priority and we hope that with continuous follow-up, as soon as possible this issue will be resolved and the rights of Muslims and Shiites living in Germany will be preserved.
